    Jack LaLanne Power Juicer

I received an early Birthday Present from my husband. He bought me a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer. I'm disappointed with the recipe book that came with it because it only has two recipes with vegetables. The rest are all fruit recipes. I don't have anything against fruit, I love fruit, I would like to juice some vegetables with fruit. I haven't bought a recipe book yet so I could use recommendations or maybe a few recipes that you have, because Cooks.com seems to be without any recipes. The other thing is i've heard that you can use the pulp in quick bread/muffins and homemade pasta recipes. I haven't come across any recipes for that yet either.

Yes, thank you. I can't wait to make some muffins and wash it down with some vegetable juice. I'll be cooking and juicing all weekend, sounds like a fun birthday.

I have cheap Breville. Most juicers are difficult to clean, but it takes only five minutes to clean Breville. All parts are dishwasher safe, so I can put it in the dishwasher. Using it to make a lot of ag ricultural juices is no problem, it is surprising.

I have an old Acme Juicerator. Design unchanged since the 1960s (or before, it has that postwar look).

Mine has held up well with frequent usage for around forty years now. I had to replace the grinder disc once; it became dull after two decades, and the juicer began vibrating more than usual.

Other than that the thing has been bulletproof reliable.
