I'm trying to make the Olive Garden Italian dressing from this site and I had no clue on what dry pectin was...but I was lead to fruit pectin...anyways...I made it and it smells too vinegary...I made it just as the recipe says...what can I do now?

Double the recipe by making a second batch, but the second time, leave out all of the vinegar called for. Mix both batches together.
