Chocolate Graham Cracker Sandwiches for Kids

Give each child a sheet of aluminum foil. Set out a plate that has graham crackers on it. Tell each child to take a graham cracker and place it in the center of their aluminum foil. Next set out a plate of chocolate candy bars which have been broken to fit the crackers. Tell each child to take a chocolate piece and place it on top of their graham cracker. Then pull out a bowl of mini-marshmallows. Let each child put marshmallows on their chocolate bar before giving the sandwich a graham cracker top. Help them fold their packets and place on hot coals for ten minutes.

    Chocolate, Marshmallow, Peanut Butter Treat

Take two slices of bread and spread peanut butter on them. Place half of a chocolate bar and a large marshmallow between the two slices. Toast in a pie iron over a fire until the bread is golden. This makes a great treat for chocolate, peanut butter, and marshmallow lovers.

    S’mores

The best and most traditional dessert while camping is a s’more, of course. There are plenty of variations on this theme to keep it exciting and fun. For example, consider adding some fruit to your traditional s’more. A slice of strawberry or pineapple might be just unique enough to be delicious when found in the middle of your s’more. You can make s’mores out of brownies. Just cut the brownies in half horizontally and roast a marshmallow. Put the marshmallow on one half of the brownie and top with the other half of the brownie. Think about the variations—you can make brownies with peanut butter chips in them or Rocky Road brownies with peanuts and marshmallows in them.
