    Healthy Subsitute

    Does anyone know of a healthy and tasty subsitute for Lipton dry Onion Soup Mix?
    It is too high in sodium and other preservitives. Are there spices that give the flavor but are healthier?

    Healthy Subsitute

    Dry Onion Soup Mix Substitute

    1 packet (change servings and units)

    Ingredients
    8 teaspoons dried onion flakes
    1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon celery seed
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

    Directions

    Mix ingredients well.

    Store in airtight container for up to six months.
