This would be tasty for New Years Eve Party!

    APPETIZER PARTY PINWHEELS

    Recipe #1
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies, well drained
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    5 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    Garlic powder to taste
    Seasoned salt to taste

Mix all of the filling ingredients together thoroughly. Divide the filling and spread evenly over the tortillas; roll up tortillas like a jelly roll. Cover tightly with plastic wrap, twisting ends; refrigerate several hours. Unwrap; cut in slices 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick. Serve with salsa or picante sauce.

    Recipe #2:
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Milk Recipe Original Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
    2 green onions, minced
    4 (12 inch) flour tortillas
    1/2 c. diced red pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
1 can sliced black olives, drained

Mix first 3 ingredients. Spread on tortillas. Sprinkle on remaining ingredients. Then roll and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Chill at least 2 hours. Cut as thick as you like - 1/2 to 1 inch slices.

    APPETIZER MEAT BALLS

    2 lbs. hamburger
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/2 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
    2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped onion

    SAUCE:

    3 c. catsup
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. liquid smoke, if you like
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. finely chopped onions

Mix and shape into balls. Place in a 9x13 glass pan in single layer. Pour on sauce and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

The journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a single step.

Here is another spread that was really good!

    1 lb liverwurst
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons dried basil (you can add more depending on your taste)
    3 tablespoons green onions, minced
8 ounces cream cheese, softened in microwave
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash hot sauce (such as Tabasco; my personal favorite is Cholula hot sauce, yum)
    1 tablespoon mayonnaise
pumpernickel bread or really nice cracker (thick)

In a medium bowl, knead together liverwurst, garlic powder, basil and green onion.

Place on serving tray and form into mound or square.

Mix softened cream cheese, garlic powder, hot sauce and mayonnaise and frost the liverwurst stuff.

Garnish with something appropriate to the occasion and serve with pumpernickel bread.

The journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a single step.
