Family Style Meal for vacation ideas?

Later this month my family and my mother's sisters(there's a bunch of them) and their families will be going on vacation together and all squeezing into one house. We love this, its tradition - so is one family making a special dinner each night.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO MAKE!
I have quite a bit of skill in the kitchen, so most family style meals aren't beyond my reach - but we make it a contest to see who can make the best and most unique meal..I am coming up short after introducing most of my cousins to seafood paella last year. That was my favorite "special occasion, but not fancy" dinner and I have nothing left that any member of my family hasn't already had many times in their lives.

any suggestions on a family style meal I can use to feed 24+ people?

Family Style Meal for vacation ideas?

Here's a VERY reliable recipe for which people have ALWAYS asked for the recipe when I used it for pot-luck dinners, etc. It's very easy, makes a good quantity, and is absolutely delicious.

    SUMMER PASTA

INGREDIENTS:1 pound fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes8 medium tomatoes, diced4 garlic cloves3/4 cup olive oil1 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon kosher saltFreshly ground black pepperCrushed red pepper1 1/2 pounds spaghetti or penne rigate
INSTRUCTIONS:In a bowl, toss the mozzarella with the tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, and kosher salt. Season generously with black pepper and crushed red pepper. Let stand for 30 minutes.Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain, return the pasta to the pot, add the sauce, and toss well.Serve hot or at room temperature.
NOTES:For my personal taste, instead of the crushed red pepper, I prefer to use cayenne. Just be careful not to add TOO much, of course.
    Servings: 8

    Enjoy!
