    McCormick Enchilada seasoning

I need to know if McCormick Enchilada seasoning packet contents thicken once the water is added.

    McCormick Enchilada seasoning

Well, the only pre-made blends I use are Chinese Five Spice and Garam Masala, so I don't know what McCormick puts into their enchilada seasoning.

Take a look at the ingredients. If it contains flour, cornstarch, arrowroot, or agar agar, it will thicken as it cooks in liquid. If not, it probably won't.

Generally speaking, however, the sauce used on Mexican/American enchiladas is not thick the way a turkey gravy would be, so I would not expect the seasoning mix to contain any thickeners.
