Can anyone tell me how to lesser the taste of the acidy tomato taste in the sauce, i did add sugar approx 1/2 cup in 3 large cans of tomato sauce, i also have 1 small can of paste in there too
Can anyone tell me how to lesser the taste of the acidy tomato taste in the sauce, i did add sugar approx 1/2 cup in 3 large cans of tomato sauce, i also have 1 small can of paste in there too
i find that if you add some lemon juice toy our sauce helps and also adjust your spices accordingly, sounds maybe like you need to have a little more oregano cumin, etc, to waiver the taste of the acid.

I like to add canned condensed milk to the sauce. It really tames down the tomato taste.
