Oat Bran Muffins

I am looking for an Oat Bran Muffin similar to one that they make in my cafeteria at work. The taste is sweet, not plain like some Oat Bran muffin recipes. To describe it, would be like a oatmeal with brown sugar and maple syrup or something.

here is a recipe for you that sounds close to what your looking for,you can use white flour in stead of the whole wheat flour if you like. but still maintain healthy.

Maple Oat bran Muffins with Raisins and Walnuts

These muffins are not traditional, but are an interesting combination of ingredients. An excellent muffin for breakfast.

2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon pure maple extract

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup oat bran flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Beat together first 4 ingredients until blended. Mix together the remaining ingredients and add, all at once. Beat until dry ingredients are just blended. Do not overbeat.

Divide batter between 18 paper-lined muffin cups and bake in a 400 degrees F. oven for about 18 to 20 minutes, or until a cake tester, inserted in center of muffin, comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, and then remove from pan and continue cooling on a rack. Serve warm. Yields 18 muffins.
