    keep pasta hot

Any suggestions on keeping pasta hot during dinner? I will be serving pasta as a side dish and would like to keep some available on the table in case anyone would like seconds, and keep it hot. Thanks.

    keep pasta hot

Its just an idea but what about one of those things u put under dishes. Some of them u can heat in the microwave and they keep things hot. I can't think of what they r called. or maybe you could warm up a crock pot and keep the pasta in there they stay warm for awhile. Good Luck. Happy Holidays

    Hi jane1
you can also keep your pasta water on the stove and redip your pasta and strain when needed,
just enough to take the chill off as you sauce will be hot.
    remember,STRESSED spelt backwards is "DESSERTS"
    happy cooking

Keeping hot water on the stove works... you can keep cooked, single serving pasta in a small ziploc that you have poked holes in.Then if you need seconds just put the bag in and warm, using tongs pull it out and it will drain right over the pot.
