    Praline-Flavored Liqueur Substitute

I have a recipe that calls for 1/2 c. praline-flavored liqueur and I'd like to substitute pecan flavoring or extract. Does anyone have a conversion for it? Thanks! -- Judy

depends on the recipe , but, as a rule of thumb extracts are more potent than flavorings so if you are using an extract start with 1 1/2 tsp but be sur to add additional liquid to even out the wet/dry ratio ive never used praline liquer and it sounds scrumptious what are you making ?

    Hi Judy,
you can substitute, maple syrup in its place, as shoelady says if you use the extract you will have to add more liquid to equal out the wet dry ratio,
    hope this helps

    remember,STRESSED spelt backwards is "DESSERTS"
    happy cooking
