    How to thicken Chocolate sauce

I made a chocolate sauce a few weeks ago and then froze it, but it was too runny - thats why I froze it! Does anyone know how to thicken chocoalte sauce? Don't ask me what is in it (apart from chocolate!), because I can't remember!

I would try a little corn starch in the sauce. You would have to reheat it to gt the corn starch to thicken the sauce.

    How to thicken Chocolate sauce

    Hi jude loves food,
I would do the same but don't put your cornstarch in by it'self. i would mix it with a little milk,i would do 1/4 cup of milk to a tablespoon of cornstarch heaping. and stir in to your choclate sauce after you have heated it up.don't put it in cold.stir to disired thickness, and that should do the trick for you.
    happy choclating

    Ron,

You are correct. I forgot to mention mix it with a liquid before mixing with the chocolate sauce.

    Right on.

    Hi jude loves food,
another way to thicken is to use whipping cream as it will thicken upon cooking. either method will be good, don't ya love the after thoughts?
