    conversion table

    hi can any one help me ,i have been trying out lots of recipes from U S A but i am having trouble converting them to english pounds and ounces i have tried the conversion calculator and ended up counting out every thing in tablespoons and teaspoons and it all went wrong i dont know if english tablespoons are the same as american i.e 1tbsp=1oz or 1tbsp=15ml if any one could help a confused english woman i would be so happy thank you suzanna

    lol ha ha ha , your too funny goldfish, love it,
    I would get your self a set of scales electronic if you can,, find a recipe, you want to make and then convert the us, recipe to lbs and ounces from your scale and mark it down.conversions are always tricky as each country has either lbs or is metric,here in canada it's metric but i still cook with cups and tsps,etc, metric and standard measures are NOT interchangeable as the metric has more in a tsp than a regular tsp has...go figure...your scales should help you out, alot.

    well I thought I would put my 3 cents in for what it was worth. this conversion site I got that was put together from a very good chef and lots of the chefs have used it and love it! soooooooo there!
    thought you may want to peek at it too!

    your 3 cents is worth a lot more,any reply to an answer is worth, alot more than 3 cents,3-1/2 cents,damn there goes that metric again..
