noticed a few mentioning coating the fish with mayo before
baking. i want to try it but its not just me eating and i
wanted know if even someone who doesnt like mayo would
enjoy this dish?

yes... yes... yes and yes! reason being is your putting some taste into the mayo and not having that bland taste. ive done this before for a client who absolutly didnt like mayo, dressings or anything of that sort, until I experimented one day..with lemon pepper, some fresh garlic, and a tinge of tarragon to put on his salmon. grilled in foil with about 2-3 wheels of lemon, basting it with the mayo! now I created a monster!! lol...has to have this on all his grilled fish. after he finished his meal he asked what type of sauce was that and I had this llook on my face and blurted out mayo with lemon?? a few min of silence, and then a huge hug!! LOL.. so yes, just try a little bit on his or her fish, let them taste it and if they act like itz good then put more on.
okay now I want a report back!!
LOL
kph

I agree with "KPH" yes yes yes and yougurt also works as well even caesar dressing works ranchmdressing, you don'[t taste the flavour but you sure get the moisture form the mayo, which keeps the chicken or pork moist and tender.lemon,,,,, can never have enough, bring on those wedges after wards.
happt cooking.
