My favorite non traditional item to put on salads would have to be probably avocadoes, salsa, sour cream, and noodles. A bunch of stuff but those are a few.
Don't forget the jÃ*cama, edamame, chow-mein noodles, and Fritos. They each add nice touches to salads.
I love strawberries, mandarine oranges and kiwi in a classic green tossed salad. yum
to put on my salads..
I like using coconut, macadamia nuts, pine nuts and yes even some crushed ranch flavored cornuts.
