Someboday gave me a jar of marinated mushrooms, but i have no clue what to do with them...closest I could think would be to sautee them and serve with a broiled steak. Any other suggestions?

I have had marinated mushrooms in the past - eat them as they are - raw - I don't think sauteing will add anything to them. They were very good cold or at room temperature (room temperature meaning we took them out of the fridge then ate them when ready but I would not keep an opened jar unrefridgerated.)
They should be served like a side dish at room temperature.
Don't cook marinated mushrooms!!!! They make a great addition to an appitzer/snack platter, along w/ some cheeses, pepperoni, roasted peppers & some crackers or a thin sliced baguette. They also make a great side dish to a sandwich, pasta or any Italian meal. Eat @ room temp or slightly chilled but like Patty said put the unused portion in the fridge. They'll go great w/ your steak as a side dish too. I hope you like them!
