I've seen the kitchen product many times on an infommercial. It's like a blender..I guess. It can do a lot of stuff in 10 seconds or less. Anyone have any comments about it?

Hmm. It works fairly well but is extremely loud. The portions it makes are quite small so is difficult to make a large volume of anything, which is disappointing to my 3 kids because it does make smoothies and milkshakes really well. It is very economical to make the magic milkshakes- the ones made with nonfat dry milk and no ice cream! You would never know they didn't have any ice cream in them and are enjoyed by all and disappear very quickly at our house. But they are the only things that we have found worthwhile to make in the Magic Bullet.
I'd recommend a stick blender. You can blend your stuff right in the tumbler it's to be served in, and there's virtually no cleanup- just whizz it in water. And cost is about $20 versus $80.
