I am making the Pecan Pie with Caramel Sauce that was submitted by: Koren-Elizabeth Greenridge.

She doesn't say to cook the caramel sauce or how long. The raw egg makes me nervous about not cooking it. Has anyone made this, if so what do you do about the sauce?
