How do you make: Fried cheesy corn balls?

I'm desperate. It's been about a year since I had this recipe and I've waited long enough! It was the cafe in my office that made these and the vendor is no longer servicing the cafe. Anyone who has a recipe for little fried balls of corn and cheese is my hero.

This is a recipe I've never tried before, but I wonder if it's what you're looking for:

Cheese Corn Balls

For the cheese corn balls:
150 gms. boiled sweet corn kernels,
200 gms. processed cheese grated
200 gms. potatoes,
boiled and mashed
100 gms. chili pepper,
cut into small pieces,
salt to taste,
1 tsp. white pepper powder,
½ tsp. cornstarch,
1 tsp. flour,
½ tsp. oregano,
oil for frying,
4 tbsp. breadcrumbs
For the batter:
4 tsp. flour
1 tsp. cornstarch,
water as required.


To prepare the corn cheese balls:
In a bowl, combine the cheese, potato and chili powder. Add the sweet corn kernels to the mixture.
Add the salt, white pepper, oregano, cornstarch and the flour. Mix thoroughly.
Divide and shape the mixture into tiny balls. Set aside.
To prepare the batter:
Mix the flour and cornstarch with sufficient water to make a thick consistency.
To make the corn cheese balls:
Dip the corn cheese balls in the batter and roll them in the breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the corn cheese balls.
