I want to make potatoe salad ... Except I'm not sure weather to...

1. Add Tomato??

2. Add Carrot??

And im also not sure if I'm meant to add mayonaise... Thanks...PLS WB ASAP

Usually, but not always, potato salad is a mayonaisse based salad. Or people use Salad Dressing (such as Miracle Whip). Tomato is not usually used, the red stuff you see in the pre-packaged, buy in the store, is red pepper. Carrot can be shredded and used for something different. Onion, finely diced and celery, finely diced. Sometimes, chopped hard boiled egg. Salt and pepper to taste. Prepared mustard also gives a different flavor.
