chicken wild rice soup

i am preparing cream of chicken wild rice soup for a crowd of 50 or so can i prepare it ahead of time and freeze it.

yes you can. I do it all the time. just make sure when you heat up the soup you dont over cook the rice as it tends to split. make sure you do a cool down and leave enough head space for freezing as the soup will expand a little.
