Roaster Oven

I have 2 questions re: roasting turkey in Roaster Oven -
1) To brown it in the conventional oven for last 45 min, can you remove the roaster inset and place it in the oven - or do you have to take the turkey out of the roaster oven and put in on a different pan before putting it in the conventional oven?

2) Is the turkey more moist in the roaster oven?

I used a roaster for the first time this Thanksgiving the only reason I wantted one was to untie my oven. I'm really happy with the out come. Very moist and very little on my part!!!! I set up and went to a lunch, came home and got all my fixings togeather for dinner the hole time my bird stayed in the roaster on low. The turkey was the best.
