When the broccoli salad recipe calls for salad dressing does it mean maynonaise?

You may use either mayonnaise or Kraft Miracle Whip Salad Dressing which is a mayonnaise type of salad dressing.

Many cooks use these ingredients interchangeably. The exception would be in an instance where the recipe specifically calls for the use of Miracle Whip salad dressing. Many recipes have been specifically formulated for the use of Miracle Whip as you will find at the link posted below.
