I would like to get some ideas about a coating recipe for deep frying mushrooms. The commercially available "breading" type coatings are just not savory enough. The recipe I am looking for would be similar to the coating used by Outback for their Bushman Schrooms. They are lightly coated and not bready at all. I am not a chef, but love to try new cooking recipes either in the kitchen or on the gas grill. Any advice would be welcome.
