    runny pear preserves

I made pear preserves that did not get stiff at all--it seems more like syrup than preservers. Any pointers? They are already sealed in jars. Can I take them out and reseal them?

Yes you can open them ... heat them up again and add some certo. Reseal in clean sterile jars.. I did it and it worked out fine..
