I have a turkey with a large 26 quart basket. Could this be used to steam oysters? If so, some instructions would be helpful since I have never steamed oysters.

If you are outside B-B-Qing..you can steam oysters with simple foil paper.
Dump oysters in bowl. sprinkle salt, pepper.
cut up scallions or red onions.
toss all ingredients in bowl.
then dump oysters in the middle of the foil.
match up the 2 ends of the foil paper..then roll ends up to the middle.
fold the ends upward!
B-B-Q on the top grill for about 10min.
Be careful when removing and opening...very steamy
I sprinkle mine with lemon juice before eating. Enjoy
I have another question. I would love to make oysters this summer but I don't know how to pick them at the store. Does someone have a suggestion on how to select them?
