    potatoe dumplings my husbands mother used to make in wisconsin in 1950s & 1960s

    My husband remembers the potatoes used were grated and were raw. the moisture was squeezed out, baking soda and or baking powder, and flour were added. rolled into balls, covered with flour, dropped in boiling water. He has asked me to make them for him for years! please help!
