    If you type in Prime Rib on recipe search at the top of this page, there are a couple of different ways to do prime rib. Check a few of them and see which ones are the closest to how you want to do it. Good luck, prime rib is delish.

    I did prime rib for christmas, it had the bone in and was strung. I coated it with freshly ground black pepper, garlic and kosher salt. I put it in the oven, fat side up on a trivet, no water at all.I did it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes then turned it down to 325 until i got 125 on the meat thermometer. I was told never to cover prime rib during cooking. I removed the bones before serving and baked them off the day after covered with barbie sauce. It was to die for
