OK, if Carnation and Pet's Evaporated Milk is nothing more then about 50% less water then normal milk then why does it taste so horrible when I add the 50% water back into it again???
I just opened a can to make baked dough nuts but only used a 1/2 cup, so I added ice water to the remaining 8 ozs for drinking purposes and it almost gagged me. Why does it taste so badly? I now have 16 ozs of nasty tasting canned milk.
I will, of course, do some more baking rather then throwing it away.
It's great for cooking but not for drinking.
