    New take on Thanksgiving leftovers

Hi all, I watched the Food Network this week-end, and Jeff Mauro "The Sandwich King" had some great idea's for left over turkey and dressing. I cannot wait to try them. You can find the recipes on the Food Network under Jeff Mauro, and on his site click "Thanksgiving". There are two plus a really different take on mashed potatoes, which I think I might also try for the dinner. I have not been this excited about something new in a long time.

That's quite a decadent mashed potato recipe- definitely looks worth trying.

I know, I am going to try it. I really like what he did with the stuffing. I always have extra and this is going to be a good thing for me to make also.

I was already thinking of Quesadillas but the cranberry salsa sounds awesome.

Thanks for the link. I did not have that one. I already make Quesadilias w/left over turkey but the cranberry salsa does sound awesome. I think I will be making that also.

I like new ideas. It makes things so much more fun and gives us a little change from the common. I always have too much turkey leftover, but I like the idea of the cranberry salsa too. Might give it a try. What about any mulled ciders or punch? Any ideas on that?

Couldn't we go with light rum instead?
