    which mandolin is the easiest to use. Not TOO expensive either

    Good question. Mine has been warped in the dishwasher. Cheap from starfrit. Still works but you need to fit the warp!

    I wash mine by hand, using a brush to get all of the food residue from the parts that have those hard-to-get-at areas. I could machine-wash it, but i want to make sure that it's clean & dry before I put it back in the box.
