1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 can tomatoes, undrained and cut up
1 1/2 c. water
8 oz. dry macaroni

Brown beef, drain. Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, water, and macaroni. Bring to boil over med. heat. Reduce to low and cover. Simmer 20 minutes or until macaroni is done. Stir. Spoon into a 2 1/2 qt. casserole. Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Cornbread topping
1 pkg. cornmeal muffin mix
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar

Combine muffin mix, egg, and milk just til lightly mixed. Spoon over top of meat mixture in dollops. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes until golden. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
