so here is the deal... i live in Alaska and i have been to an awesome diner up here that literally has cinnamon rolls that cover an entire dinner plat i am wanting to make some of these but need to know how long to cook them for and temp and such has anyone made huge cinnamon rolls before?
I have done buns but not that large. I am trying to picture what size sheet of dough you would have to use to roll then slice,or are you just planning on cutting a few rectangle strips and rolling them,and not making a full batch? I have a recipe for 12,and they cook 10min, they are a Cinnabon copycat,and large but not as big as what you want............
When you bake cinnamon rolls in a pan with individual servings(pull apart) you go for 375 30min. If you make them in one large swirl 375 30 min. Your not changing the recipe just the shape just the configuration. They are both grouped together and should bake the same way. As always with buns keep an eye on them since they do contain a lot of sugar that can caramelized and burn fast.
