    cake rising

    I am having a problem with getting layer cakes to rise. If I increase the baking powder called for in the recipe, will that solve the problem?

    Post your recipe, maybe we can help. Is your oven calibrated? That can very often be the problem, oven temp. not being what it's supposed to be...
