Well, tonight I'm making (after I get away from this #$%^* machine) some linguine with a big mixed bowl of (are yu ready?) okra, salad shrimp, ham bits, fresh garlic, olives (Italian), pickled red pepper, and canned artichoke hearts. Seasoned with rosemary, basil, oregano, parsley, slat and pekker. (oops!) Feeling a little creative.... Big salad of cherry tomatos, hard eggs, cucumber, two kinds onion, raddichio, baby spinach, and head lettuce. I'm craving strong flavors; can you tell? Vinaigrette to dress the salad.
We are between Holidays, and I am starting to increase the veggies, after all that candy and etc. Oh, I had my dessert mid-afternoon; choc. bundt cake and a scoop of spumoni ice cream. Triple sigh!
Now, to finish that excellent bottle of Syrah from central CA. (Homesick....)
