It figures that the one time they have something interesting on, I'm elsewhere!

Whoops, so sorry everyone, I just voiced a personal opinion there, didn't I?

BTW, I HAVE watched the show recently...still doesn't float my boat, but it's better than being forced to eat fried eggs and liver!

I LOVE CHOPED!!! The first few times I watched I thought it was crazy, but it's really grown on me. Now when I look in my pantry I know I can fix dinner, if I just think outside of the box! You call that a challenge??!!! I hear a new thread. Lol

Back to "The Chew"...I have seen many more episodes of it, even if it's just on in the background while I'm going about my business. It seems to have found its legs, I guess, and its following. The sound of Michael Symon laughing, especially if someone really cracks him up, is enough to make me tune in--what a guy!!!

K, so glad you've tuned into it. Like I said before I usually tape it and watch it a little later then fast fwd what I am not interested in. Especially Clinton when he gets so silly. But I agree with you on Michael Symon's laughing. He really cracks me up to. He also is such an inspiration to people. Such a family man and caring person. Have you seen anything that you would like to try cooking yet? Now with my type II diabetes there is not a lot that I can eat of what they are making, but I still like to watch and I can change some things up a bit.

Personally I feel all of us should be eating like a t2 diet. It is the healthy way. Michael does have an infectious funny laugh, a zest for life and food.

Haven't seen much of Mario on that show lately, with all his other business interests I'm surprised he found time to do it at all...

I also notice too many of the shows depend on distracting background music. Cut it out. We didn't come to hear music, we came to watch cooking. I think they believe most people have to be constantly distracted or they will turn the channel, also maybe they doubt the personality power of their host. Talent is getting thinner every day, imo.

The Chew is featuring an entire episode on mac n' cheese today--I've got my roasted grape tomatoes finished, wondering what other little add ins I'll get inspired to try. Pepperoni, anyone?
