    Freezing Rice

The only time I tried this the rice turned out crunchy and there was excess water in the package. The rice had not been undercooked before freezing, and did not turn out well in the final product. Any ideas about what might have gone wrong?

I'm thinking it may not have been in a freezer safe container? Steam it before using next time and it may be back to where you left it....

You're right, it wasn't in a freezer proof container. What I can't figure out is why it didn't rehydrate in the further cooking?

That's weird. Could have been freezer burn? Not enough recook time? Lack of moisture. Don't know. I know mine will loose any good texture or flavour so I don't do it anymore.
