    Fudge

I have always loved fudge. But I have no recipes, don't know how to make it at all. Before I go searching the web, I was wondering if any of you had some good advice/recipes?

Mine has always been a disaster. Some use a recipe with marshmallow but to me that's not true.

I've heard that Mamie Eisenhowers million dollar fudge is supposed to be pretty fool proof, I'm pretty sure there's some formulas on recipe search. I've never made the stuff either, and was wondering if the beating part of it could be done in a stand mixer.....

I was wondering that too Kim. I've heard that you have to keep stiring and stiring and your arm eventaully gets tired. My aunt makes fudge, so if she's up to it, I might ask her if we could make it.

I checked Mamie's out and it's fool proof because it has the marshmallow in it. Mom made hers with sugar. Maple walnut and Chocolate.

Found a video for making fudge that was made with sugar. I watched the original in Youtube in a foreign language then realized there was an English version.

I realized the east Indian version had an English version. We forget that India was very influenced by the British and visa verse.

You Cooking Persons make my face feel like to smile.....

We have been making candy all month; actually getting burned out on it. Some kinds of fudge are more complicated than others. I think the 'Old Fashioned' recipes are trickier than the modern ones. We have seen many that are done using marshmallow creme (gives good texture to the finished product), and/or melting done in the microwave. But then there are a gazillion flavor combinations for fudge.....
