I know I could see it north around Peterborough and south to Lake Ontario. We did not lose any hydro though. Escaped this time. Sounds like a good night for comfort food to calm everyone. Soup, to start with

Well, they were in bed when it got really bad. They kept coming out(the little ones) saying, "I can't fall asleep, too loud". The older ones thought it was pretty cool. Luckly we didn't lose hydro either.

Getting back to grapes....... A friend of mine freezes them and when she serves wine lets them float on it! It looks really neat!

That sounds like a lovely touch, it would work nicely in a punch bowl, too...I did something similar once with fruit cocktail in an ice ring...
Not sure who did this but I saw someone mold in a champagne jell. They were tiny squares with about 6 grapes. The jell was almost a shimmer look.
A little bit swirled in yogurt. Top it off with granola or ground flaxseed!
Wow, those are all really great tips. Hi Cassie-Jane!

I've seen molds made with sparkling wines or soda before, the bubbles make it look great. Gotta prefer the champagne, though...![]()
How about grape pie, or a compote for dessert? Roasted grapes are a nice addition to roasted meats...
