Not sure if I'm that ambitious. Grape juice perhaps?

    GRAPE BUTTER

    1 gal. grapes
    1/4 c. water
    honey to taste

Heat grapes and water in stainless steel pot, mashing grapes. Continue cooking about 1/2 hour, stirring frequently. When thicker, put through food mill to remove skins ans seeds. Return to low heat for 2-3 hours. If desired, add honey just before canning. Pack in hot, scalded half pint jars with 1/2 " headspace. Process in water bath for 10 minutes. Yield: 3 half pints.

Yum. We make strawberry jam every year around the start of July. It is the best on scones. Has anyone ever tried maple butter? I tried it in July in Quebec. I had it on fresh bread and it was extremly tasty.

1/4 soft butter 1/4 maple syrup blend together. Every site I checked the ratings were 4.5-5 out of 5. Nothing like maple syrup!
