Chopped is like my favorite show ever!!!
Can't even imagine using those ingredients yet they think of them in seconds. I really like it when they say they have never even heard of it. So interesting.
I also love Chopped. I finally figured it out, they want the cooks to show their expertise at using the items in their food basket in the most imaginative way in the shortest time possible, evoking the most flavor ever.
I would totally bomb on that show unless they put items in the basket that I was familiar with, lol.

I just look at the item and don't think of it as it is. Think of this as a sugar, starch, kind of a carb. How is this going to behave? will it add flavour or what will it do.
I've never heard of this cooking show. What channel is it on?

Oh, I'm going to have to check it out, as I'm pretty sure we have the Food Network.
