    cooking apples sauce as I type. Bountiful from at least 5 trees this year. I want to make apple butter this year. I seen many recipes for slow cooker and variations.

    yup give some to me. My granny smith tree is slow and could use some apple jelly. my mother said I was too frugal when I peeled the apples for apple sauce and then cooked the peelings for jelly. made sense to me.

    I posted an apple chutney recipe a long time ago called Tea Lane chutney, if you can't find it I'd be happy to send it on. It's a definite winner!
