Sloppy joes, tacos, omlets, hamburger patties, stuffed peppers, tatertot hotdish, cream gravy, mixed with baked beans or black eyed peas, various soups canned or homemade.
I myself would most likey go for the sloppy joes or cream gravy. In any case becarefull with what ever seasonings you use.
Aren't you the one who never met a meat loaf you liked?![]()
Yep, that's me! I've turned many a ho-hum meatloaf into these successful dishes, but I think I've finally hit a winning combination through much trial and error. That only took years...everybody else always liked them but not me until now....
I love meatloaf sandwiches. My husband about gags just watching me enjoy one. Bread, cold meatloaf, mayo, mustard, a slice of tomato, and letuce. mmmmmmm
What's strange is that as much as I never liked meatloaf, I always did enjoy it cold the next day on white bread with a healthy dose of ketchup.....![]()
Ms. K. Slink, have you posted your winning combo for meatloaf somewhere on this site? I surely would appriciate a winning combo for the loaf. The last one I made tasted somewhat like barfo dawg food.![]()
You know, I did actually, but don't remember under which forum or thread. It was in response to another request for it...I'm about to make one tomorrow, give me a little time to shake the cobwebs from my brain and I'll get back to you, OK? One bonus is that there's really very little prep work in assembling it, no veggies to be minced, sliced, diced, or sauteed...and it has turned a meatloaf hater like me into a convert!
