The Nordic Ware Tender Cooker for Microwave

I am seeking to possibly buy a Nordic Ware Tender Cooker. I came across it on the Internet. From what I've read, it appears to be a slow cooker for th microwave. I've a 1,100 watt oven that I use to cook pasta with a Pasta N More. What ca I do with this microwave slow cooker? How do I modify the recipes for this device? How does the meat come out? I'd love to throw in a bone in chicken in one. Doable?
