Thank you for your reply. After placing in fridge over night it looks more like what i expected it to- will see what it does when i pull it out this winter. will be making another batch today but will be trying a no cook sugar free recipe.
I just love recipes with no or decreased sugar. I find our supermarket processed foods are full of sugar and fat and we have forgotten what the original taste was. I make my own chocolate syrup, jams and jellies for this reason.
