Hey Rozzer, try using Olives instead of pickle relish. Makes for a great change. I also put Olives in my egg salad.

I recently bought deviled eggs from the supermarket, I learned my lesson. They were horrid!! Not one person had more than one, what an imbarrassment . I tried to make ammends and made home made ones for Thanksgiving, live and learn.

I don't know what these commercial manufacturers do to eggs to mess them up so badly, but I once bought a pre-packaged egg salad sandwich and discovered it to be a yellow PASTE, awful stuff! I'll be making several dozen for an upcoming holiday party and will happily peruse the deviled egg website once again

OOOOH, Deviled Eggs! We call them Chicken Dinners at our house. I love all the recipe variations, but don't see the best of all!

My husband is from upper East Tennessee. His Mom made the best eggs ever. Really kinda plain, but irisistable. (Can't seem to spell tonight)

Boil however many eggs you want. Peel and cut them in half. Pop out the yolks, mash them with enough mayo (Not Miracle Whip!) (Hellman's or Best Foods is best) to make them fairly moist. Season with salt and pepper, and add a bit of cider vinegar, to get them just moist enough but not runny. Stuff back into the whites, and serve with Pride!

    Now that's a Deviled Egg!
