If a bean is mashed the gas is released and you don't get the gas that causes gas. Yeah for puree!

How long do you leave a large head of cabbage in the freezer for this to work ?? I tried this once but I had no directions .So I tried 4 hours but after reading your thread I know I did not leave it to thaw long enough I ended up boiling it to stuff . This would be a great time saver if I can get it to work, as for ever haliday & family gathering we make a huge roaster full of potatoes stuffed cabbage layer of Smoked sausage covered in sourkraut.

Freeze for a few days and let thaw for at least 1 full day.
