1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
4 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. broken or minced nuts
Put sugars and milk into pan and cook to soft ball stage. Take off heat and add butter, vanilla and pecans. Stir until mixture begins to lose its gloss, then spoon onto waxed paper. Easy!
Traditionally made with pecans, but delicious with cashews, too!![]()
