    Cool cholesterol-free oatmeal cookies

I used your on-line recipe with a couple of goofs and wonder why my cookies came out tasty but rubbery. I misread the amount of eggs whites so I used 2 cups of egg beaters instead of l 1/2 cups. Then I added a few tablespoons of flour to thicken mixture up. Did those goofs alone make the difference or did the ingredients? I used flour, bk soda, cinnamon, oatmeal, skim milk, egg beaters, vanilla, brown sugar, raisins and applesauce.

Did not know what to do with six egg yolks so purchased egg beaters. I was impressed with the cookies but not the rubbery tecture. Not sure how to use this forum page. Thanks, Naomi

Maybe bake them 15 minutes. When I have trouble with a recipe I search for similar ones and compare the ratio of ingredients to see the variations. I've had recipes that even the dough doesn't look right. I just toss it out and rip up the recipe. Then continue the search!
