    Ooey gooey bars

12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

    2 T butter

    14 oz sweetened condensed milk

    1 c butter

    2 1/4 c brown sugar

    2 large eggs

    2 c flour

    1/2 c coconut

1/2 c chopped and toasted pecans

    1 t salt

    1 t vanilla

Melt first three ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly. Set aside.

Melt 1 c butter, off heat add brown sugar and eggs, blending well. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spread half of this batter in greased 8x8x2' pan, then spread chocolate mixture over all. This may be easier to do by plopping big spoonfuls of it, it's rather thick.

Drop remaining batter over chocolate mix, and swirl to marble.

Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes.

These are very rich treats, a cross between a candy and cookie bar, butterscotch and fudge. Enjoy!

Never heard of a Hello Dolly bar until I looked it up, around here they call them Magic bars, either way they're just a mouthful of yummy fun!
